This is the home for the UCCS Southern Colorado Regional Competition of the
FIRST Lego League. Here you'll find valuable information on our event
scheduled for Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the University of Colorado at Colorado
Springs (UCCS) in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Please review the letter from our Director -- CLICK HERE! ![]() IMPORTANT NOTE: The 2011 Southern Colorado Qualifier does NOT require teams to provide volunteers. If you register for our event, you can ignore the volunteer information shown during registration at www.coloradofirst.org. However, if your team qualifies for the Denver Championship event, you will be required to provide two volunteers for that day. We'll be asking the qualifying teams for the names of those volunteers at our event, so start lining them up now -- just in case. About Southern Colorado FIRST LEGO League Southern Colorado FIRST LEGO League is a regional competition under the worldwide non-profit FIRST LEGO League Organization whose goal is to inspire an interest in science and engineering among 9-14 year-olds. This year, we expect nearly 50 teams of up to 10 students each. Most come from local schools, but anyone is welcome. We have Boy Scout, Girl Scout, Church, 4H, home school and "five friends" teams too. Our winning teams advance to the Colorado Championship event held in Denver, Colorado.
